  • How many passengers can fit on a vehicle?

    A full-size motorcoach holds 56 passengers. Our wheelchair-equipped motorcoaches can accommodate up to 4 wheelchairs, but will decrease the regular passenger seating count.


    A school bus can seat up to 48 passengers (2 adults per seat) or up to 72 passengers (3 children per seat).


    Our Mercedes Ultimate Sprinter can seat up to 10 passengers, including the driver.

  • Are flammable or combustible items allowed onboard?

    National Trails Bus does not allow flammable or combustible items on any of our vehicles, including the storage bins.

  • What destinations do you serve?

    Our fleet will travel anywhere in the USA and Canada. Our school buses are typically used for local travel, but some can be booked for long-distance trips. Call for details!

  • Are food and beverages allowed on board?

    Feel free to snack away! We allow outside food and beverages on board all our vehicles.

  • What is the minimum rental time period?

    The minimum rental time for motorcoaches is 5 hours. The minimum rental time for school buses is 4 hours. Our Mercedes ultimate sprinter van is booked at a day rate through Outdoorsy.

  • How far in advance should I book my bus?

    We recommend booking spring and fall trips at least 8-12 months in advance. In summer and winter, we can typically arrange trips in as little as 2 weeks. However, we will always do our best to accommodate last minute requests.

  • Is the driver's pay included in my total price?

    The driver's pay is included in the total cost. Driver gratuity is not included in the total cost; which is not required, however deeply appreciated.

  • Do you have a lost and found?

    Yes. Items are kept for up to 2 months and then donated to local charities. However, items like pillows and blankets are discarded immediately due to sanitary reasons.
