National Trails was founded in 1982 in Southfield, Michigan, by a husband-and-wife duo who started the company with a single charter bus. The brand operated out of their home and served a growing clientele, including senior groups, small businesses/school groups, and church groups.

In 2019, Mr. Austin Arksey acquired the National Trails brand, which then consisted of ten charter buses and ten employees. Under Mr. Arksey’s visionary leadership and industry knowledge, National Trails has flourished, now boasting a fleet of 28 charter buses, 160 school buses, and a team of 300 dedicated employees.

Welcoming Bliss Charters to the National Trails Family

Bliss Charters, a family-owned and operated business based in Fostoria, Ohio, shares a legacy of personalized service and community dedication. Founded in 1988 by Bill and Joella Feasel, the company transitioned to the leadership of Paul and Linda Feasel following Bill’s passing in 1992. Over the years, Bliss Charters grew to a fleet of nine charter buses before downsizing to seven in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
